Refund Policy

1. When Are You Eligible for a Refund?

2. Non-Refundable Items

  • Products that have been used, installed, or altered in any way
  • Items returned without original packaging, tags, or invoice
  • Clearance or final-sale items (marked at the time of purchase)
  • Custom or made-to-order products
  • Items where the return window (7 days) has expired

3. How to Request a Refund

  1. Email support@hardwaredoorstep.com with your Order ID, product name, and reason for refund.
  2. Attach clear photos of the product and packaging (required for damaged/defective claims).
  3. Our team will review and respond within 24–48 hours.
  4. Once the return is received and inspected (or claim verified), your refund will be initiated.

4. Refund Processing Time

Refunds are processed within 5–7 business days from the date of approval. Actual credit to your account depends on your payment method:

UPI (GPay, PhonePe, Paytm)1–3 business days

Credit / Debit Card5–7 business days

Net Banking3–5 business days

5. Partial Refunds

In cases where only part of your order is affected (e.g., one item damaged in a multi-item order), a partial refund will be issued for the affected item(s) only. The refund amount will be calculated based on the item price and any applicable discounts.

6. Cancellation Refunds

If you cancel an order before dispatch, a full refund will be issued to your original payment method within 3–5 business days.
